Introduced in 1957 by Victor Hasselblad AB, the Hasselblad 500C represents the extreme high quality and functional system of the Hasselblad system. The 500C/M is fully mechanical, manual 6x6cm SLR that is lightweight, compact, user-friendly, and meets the demands of studio and outdoor photography. The 500C/M film can be exchanged mid roll via separate backs and syncs at all speeds. Like many of Hasselblad medium format SLR, the 500C/M offers interchangeable film magazines, film winding knobs, viewfinders used with ground glass screen, Carl Zeiss lenses and associated equipment.
